Chinese Calligraphy is the ancient method of writing – the foundation of which is known as the Four Treasures; the brush, the paper, the ink, and the inkstone.

Calligraphy can be viewed of as an art form, creating a beautiful aesthetic feeling with text, and a way to build and display your character.

You will learn the structure, form and style of this elegant and soothing art. Using brushes & ink, you will explore these ancient techniques to walk away with a beautiful keepsake!

Includes brushes, ink, paper & other equipment.

Minimum of four people per session.

Ink Painting

Explore one of the oldest artistic traditions still practised today, paint beautiful images with a brush dipped in black ink or coloured pigments, most commonly on silk or rice paper.

Paper Cutting

A form of folk art using scissors or a carving knife to cut patterns on paper for decoration to make a beautiful keepsake.

 Archery

Learn how to master one of the six ancient arts, used for hunting, sport, rituals and examinations. A traditional skill fused with modern technology and guidance.
